Tuesday, Monday?


So, was yesterday Monday? I'm not really sure, you see I've been gone and I'm still not sure what way is up. This week going by fast is not a good thing. We have an action packed weekend coming up and I think I'll be doing laundry well into next year (which, incidentally is only thirty-one days away. Eh.)

I'll have a post about our trip as soon as I can get the pictures off of the camera. And delete some. I think I took a thousand pictures over the course of five days...no lie.

Now I need to go finish my book for book club, tomorrow night. Who knew that camping with a toddler doesn't lead to much reading time?

Did everyone have a nice Thanksgiving? The Mr. and I ate deli turkey sandwiches and Mac n' Cheese made over the fire. LN had a banana. The people camping next to us? Yeah, they had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, beans, some cranberry thing and pie. We kinda wanted to kill them. Or just wished they would have offered to share. Wasn't that what the first Thanksgiving was all about? ;) And isn't it amazing what you can find out about people when you are 'living' ten feet from one another?

    Can't wait to hear about the trip! Also, they should have shared the meal...that is the whole point of Thanksgiving!

    i would've offered you some of our 20 lb turkey!

    one of our other 4 attendees snotted askily at patrick what he was bringing (she brought mashed potatoes)... he calmly replied...well, the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn, snacks for before and connie's making an apple crisp... you totally could've had some if we were camping next door!

I don't fold and put away my clothes. Really, you'd think by the time I graduated from college, got married, bought a house and had a kid that I would be able to take care of myself. But no, there are still a number of things that I can't seem to get the hang of. Like laundry. Well, that's not true. I actually don't mind doing laundry. Washing and drying clothes is no big deal. (Let's not point out that a machine takes care all of it...shall we?) Even un-organized me has a day that I do laundry. Monday. Well fellow inter-friends, I was going to post today about my experience with the Wii Fit. However, upon looking at my post number I realized that today was post #95. Which means that I get to announce the nifty little giveaway I have planned for post #100. Giveaway you say? Oh yes, just keep reading folks. Happy 100!

So sorry for my absence yesterday. Around this time I was attempting to put three toddlers down for naps. Sweet twenty month LN, and her two male cousins; ages two and three. At one point they were all napping...but let's just say that it didn't last for long. Good day overall, but made me completely forget about anything except diapers, snacks and Dora the Explorer.
